PRESS RELEASE – On January 23, 2024, Agents with the Northwest Georgia Drug Task Force and the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Unit conducted an operation that lead to the arrest of multiple wanted individuals and the seizure of narcotics to include fentanyl, marijuana, and over 90 grams of methamphetamine.

The below individuals were charged with dozens of crimes as a result of this operation.

-Joshua Lee Hicks (W/M, 38 YOA)

-Sherod Montraze Birdsong (B/M, 38 YOA)
*It must be noted that Birdsong was arrested during this operation on warrants stemming from a case that took place on 01/03/24 in Paulding County where he was charged with possession of multiple stolen firearms and illegally possessing multiple unregistered suppressors*

-Brandon Thomas Florence (B/M, 41 YOA)
*It must be noted that Florence was arrested during this operation for a warrant out of DeKalb County*
